I worked with Luanna for 5 years and during that time I grew very fond of her and admired her dedication to the many many thousands of seniors she fed over the many years of her working life.

On another note she taught me how to make the best chocolates ever and she made it look easy but it wasn’t.

Dear Sheila, Linda and Mina, and families –

Donna phoned me yesterday, and told me of Luanna’s passing. I’m thankful that Kay and I were able to visit with her last fall. I remember that she always had a laugh and a smile in her voice, and always portrayed happiness in her life. She lived a good life, and now she is with her Heavenly Father, and rejoicing with your parents, who have gone on before her. Imagine how happy their reunion must have been.

Although it doesn’t make her passing any easier, you and I know that she is in a better place.

I’m sorry that I will not be able to attend her funeral service, and reunite with all of you, but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
