Obituary of David HOLMES

February 6, 1976 – November 26, 2011 David Holmes, beloved son of Bob and Leslie Holmes, brother of Rob Holmes, brother-in-law of Margaret Grant, passed away in Calgary on Saturday, November 26. David faced many difficult challenges in his life. He dealt with these challenges with courage and patience, enjoying an active life that included skiing, swimming and music. To his family and friends, David will be remembered as a true gentle man. In addition to his immediate family, David will be missed and remembered by aunts Pat and Carol; uncle Terry; cousins, Jeanette, Roy, Kristen, Alyson, and Stefan; and niece Melanie. David taught us empathy, gave us inspiration, and enriched our lives with his love. While he died too young, we are grateful for the 35 years he was with us.
