Obituary of James Robert LYNES

October 12, 1952 – November 25, 2011 James Robert Lynes, beloved husband of Maureen of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2011 after a lengthy illness at the age of 59 years. He was born in Kimberley, BC but made his home in Calgary. He joined CP Rail in 1986 where he became a Locomotive Engineer. He loved his family and loyal yorkie ‘Max’, card games, cooking and game shows, shopping the local markets, food from around the world and trips to BC, the Caribbean, Mexico and California. James is survived by his wife of thirty years, Maureen; children David, Steven (Candice) and Christina; (Sarah and Brian from a previous marriage); siblings, William (Helen), Brian, Dennis (Jacquie), Donna (Bill), Betty (Jake), Debbie (Al) and Mike (Brenda); and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Rose and Don; sister Patricia (Barry); and brother Gary. As per his request, no service will be held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
