Obituary of Albert Masahiro Edward INAMASU

June 10, 1923 – November 20, 2011 Albert Inamasu of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Albert was the youngest of eight children born to Masae and “Kemo” Inamasu. “Kemo” was one of the original pioneers when Calgary was in its infancy and Albert’s passing has ended a legacy which was created by this well know and respected family. He is survived by his nephews Gary and Kevin Inamasu; niece Marian Heisey (Ron); great nieces Maile Hunt, Margaret Tapscott, Dawn Bracket; great nephews Michael O’Brien, Brent Heisey; cousins Ruby Fukumoto, Herb and Phyllis Morita, James Tanouye and Judy Dombowsky. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Masae and Kumataro Inamasu, sisters Mary and Cecile Inamasu, Margaret Tanouye (Leo), brothers Jim, Pat, George and Harry (Sue) Inamasu, niece Helen O’Brien. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, November 24, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral (219 – 18th Avenue S.W.) on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
