Obituary of Brian J. OBERG

October 9, 1940 – November 19, 2011 We are sad to announce the passing of Brian John Oberg on Saturday November 19th at the Agape Hospice in Calgary. He was a man of strength and courage who inspired and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his two sons, Todd and Travis, along with their mother Margaret Oberg and grandchildren, Jaiden and Liam. Born on October 9th, 1940 in Dryden, Ontario son of Karl and Clara Oberg. Brian was predeceased by his parents and brother Clarence. He is survived by brother Harold (Joy) and sister-in-law Angele. Always the first one to provide a helping hand regardless of the situation, Brian brought a sense of humour and positive outlook on life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved cars, country music, and was a regular fixture at Flames games. Special thanks to Dr. Conrad McCowan, the staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, and everyone at the Agape Hospice.
