Celia phoned us to give us the sad news about Cherry. Our arms are wrapped around you from afar and you are in our thoughts. This earth of ours has really has lost a strong, good person and we are glad to have known Cherry. She’s probably got Rollie in her arms right now! Love Andrea and Michael

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Cherry had a zest for life. She was also great cook and hostess. She was always the first one to volunteer to help out. In sorority she was fountain of information and always full of ideas.

She was not afraid to express her opinion and was a strong leader in our group. I feel lucky to have had an opportunity to have known her. She will be missed.

John and Sam, I am so sorry to hear of Cherrie’s passing. She was one in a million. I will always remember her indomitable spirit on the llama trek. She probably had the least outdoor training of any of us on that ill-fated trip, yet she had the best attitude. She smiled and joked as the snow was piling up around us and never faltered. She will be missed!

I will not forget the kindness of Cherry and John when I first met them last year. I was new to the Beta Sigma Phi Choir and Cherry took me into the fold with love and kindness. My heartfelt condolences to her family. She will be sorely missed.
