Condolences
Red and I shared an interest in our Family History and enjoyed reading each little extra information on the story of the COPPELL Family.
I am descended from the Captain also and wish to send my condolences to his family.
yours sincerely
Margaret Smith
Awe my condolences to the family. I remember when I was younger; on Sundays Red would take Sandy & I to breakfast. My mother and I were just wondering about the family, so I decided to look up the family. Feel free to contact anyone of us, would love to see the family.
We knew “Red” from the Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday evening group that did their dialysis runs at the South Calgary Dialysis Unit. I know Mum and Red shared a mutual respect, and always greeted each other with friendly smiles. They also shared stories with each other from war time, and their respective lives, on the numerous occasions over the past 3 years when sitting beside each other. I know they thoroughly enjoyed their interactions and it must have helped pass the long hours.
I shall miss his waves hello from across the room, our quick little chats together as I was getting him his ice chips ready for another dialysis run.
Our sincere condolences to Red’s Family and friends.
I did not know Red. I am a friend of Lori’s. My heart goes out to all of you who were blessed to share his life, he is now in Heaven watching over you all. Harris Mac Kay
Each morning there was an e-mail from Uncle Red. Each one a gift in raising one’s spirit. This daily blessing will be missed. We shared the family history which I am thankful Red sent to me. He is the last of my Dad’s (Roy Coppell) family so we shared a special bond.
There is a empty space in our lives with Red’s passing but there are two stars joined in the heavens as he is once again with the Lorette, the love of his life.
Our sincere condolences Pam, Sue & JoAnne & your families.
Love and blessings, Leslie & Randy
