Marjorie HEIDEN

Obituary of Marjorie Eileen HEIDEN

May 2, 19?? – November 18, 2011 Our beloved Marjorie transitioned on Friday, November 18, 2011 to join her husband, Jay Charles Heiden, who predeceased her in 2008. Marj is survived by her son Ronald Skjonsberg; her daughter Lora Palma; two grandchildren, Sheri Roscoe and Aenea Palma and his wife Heather; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hannay, Keyahn and Jaivyn Palma. She is also survived by five sisters, Muriel Hicks, Beth Connochie, Jeanette Matson, Joyce Gilispie and Audrey McArthur as well as many nieces and nephews. Marj is fondly remembered by her loved ones as a tireless support. She would not rest when someone she knew was in need. Providing assistance to others gave her energy and purpose. It was impossible to leave her home without a care package, food or treats. Marj’s life was overflowing with gratitude. The arrival of thank you notes and the annual flood of Christmas cards was a testament from those who held her in high esteem. There is not enough space here to do justice to her time with us and we will honour her at a Celebration of Life which will be held in May 2012, with the location and time published in advance. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the A.L.S. Society of Alberta & Northwest Territories (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Suite 250, 4723 – 1 Street S.W., Calgary, AB T2G 4Y8, www.alsab.ca. Special thanks to all the staff at Cedars Villa, and in particular Primrose, for their loving care and attention. In living memory of Marjorie Heiden, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH Telephone: (403) 276-2296.
