Obituary of Walter KOSTUR

August 4, 1947 – November 15, 2011 Walter Kostur, beloved husband of Florence Kostur, died tragically on Tuesday November 15, 2011 near Langdon, AB at the age of 64 years. Walter was born August 4, 1947 in Swan River, Manitoba. He resided in Saskatchewan until he moved to Calgary at the age of seventeen. Walter completed his apprenticeship as a carpenter in 1982. He opened his own business in 1988 and managed it until the present time. Walter was a lover of the outdoors, sports, especially the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and most of all time spent with his family. Walter was looking forward to his retirement at his special place in Christina Lake, BC. He leaves to mourn his wife Florence; daughters Moria (Trevor) and Shannon (Charles); sisters, Olga (Brian Horejsi), Doreen Derbowka and Vicky (Tom Caldwell); four grandchildren, Raven, Mason, Abigail and Wesley; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Anne Jarman. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
