Obituary of Corey Allan YOUNG

June 10, 1966 – November 14, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Corey on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the age of 45. Corey was born and raised in Sherwood Park, graduating from Archbishop Jordan in 1982. He moved to Calgary and embraced his career and friendships with Spartan Controls. Although his residence was in Calgary, his heart was always with the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Eskimos. His first part time job was with the Edmonton Oilers on game nights, working in the press box along with his best friend Terry Goy. Gabe Fischbach (Corey’s soul mate and life partner) is heartbroken and will miss him dearly, as well as his beloved and cherished sons Travis and Jason (Faryn). Corey also leaves his loving grandmother Leone Young. Grieving Corey, from Cambodia, is his brother Geordie (Pheak) and nephew Alexander. His mom, Dorothy will always be grateful for the love she and Corey shared. Corey was predeceased by his Dad, Al in 2007.
