Obituary of Zoltan KOVACS

July 20, 1930 – November 14, 2011 Zoltan Kovacs, beloved husband of Ilonka Kovacs, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Father Lacombe Care Centre. Zoltan was born in Miskolc, Hungary. He immigrated to Canada in 1956. He worked at Canadian Pacific Railway where he retired from, after 33 years of service. He was blessed with a loving wife and twin boys for 44 years. Zoltan remained true to his Catholic religion and his Hungarian heritage. He was actively involved in numerous Hungarian causes and volunteered his time unselfishly. Zoltan is survived by his wife Ilonka and his twin sons Erno and Zoltan Jr. The family would like to thank all the care givers for their warm and loving care of Zoltan in his last days. With deep sorrow, but in the will of God, he is mourned by his loving wife and children, friends, relatives, acquaintances here, abroad and in his native Hungary. A private family service was held.
