Obituary of Perry Allan RISLING

October 27, 1958 – November 13, 2011 Perry Risling of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the age of 53 years. Perry was born on October 27, 1958 in Saskatoon, SK, he attended St. Philip School and Walter Murray Collegiate in Saskatoon. After living in Victoria, B.C. and Portland, Oregan, Perry settled in Calgary in 1986 and began his career as a siding contractor. His biggest passion in life was music. Perry started playing guitar at a young age. HE played with several bands in the Calgary area, the most recent being Identity Crisis and Why Martin. He was known as a hard worker, a magnificent father, and a good friend to all. Perry is survived by his loving daughter, Kristina Cassidy, grandmother Barbara Risling of Scott, SK, mother Alvina Risling of Saskatoon, SK; sisters, Lynne (Keith) Smith of Santa Maria, CA, Deb McHenry of Saskatoon, SK; brothers; Glen (Linda) and Dale of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Perry was predeceased by his father, Leo Risling, his grandparents Lambert and Elizabeth Duchscher and Rochus Risling, and Dawn Patton, mother of Kristina.
