Obituary of Margaret Peggy Helen McLEOD

April 26, 1946 – November 12, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret “Peggy” Helen McLeod announces her passing in Calgary on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the age of 65 years. Peggy grew up in Regina, SK and had a long career in the print industry – first in Regina, then Edmonton and Calgary. She was talented with handcrafts such as knitting, had an eye for fashion style, and enjoyed travelling. Peggy leaves her devoted and loving family to cherish her memory: daughter Jane Osborne and husband Scott; grandchildren, Jordan and Abby of Calgary; brothers Gordon (Kathleen) McLeod of Edmonton and Ian (Donna) McLeod of Calgary; and nieces and nephews, John (Mandy), Graham (Tim), Kristan (Shawn), Andrew (Melanie), Brendan, Michael (Bri) and Jamie (Jenna). Peggy will be greatly missed by her friends and family including her cousin Heather, and all others who were welcomed by “Mrs. C”. Peggy was predeceased by her parents Cliff and May McLeod, and her infant brother Reid. Jane, Scott, Jordan and Abby were Peggy’s greatest joy and she demonstrated that each day. Everyone will miss her sense of humour, her caring interest and encouragement.
