I wanted to send a note of condolence to your family. Mrs. Weed was my grade 5 teacher at St. Margaret School around 1965. She was one of my favorite elementary school teachers because of her kindness. I had a nosebleed one day and it stained the yellow dress that my mom had sown for me. She didn’t want me to go home “looking like I had gone to war”. She kindly washed my dress in the sink at recess and removed the stain and gave me a hug. I always remembered her kindness. God bless her and I hope all of your thoughts of her will be filled the joy of having known her.
