Condolences
To Doug and All Your Family
Harvey and I were so sorry to hear of your father’s death. The first thing that struck me was that Doug has his dad’s smile and eyes.
It looks like your dad wanted to spend Christmas with your mom this year. I’m sure they will be celebrating in heaven and watching over you.
Doug, our hearts go out to you and you are in our prayers.
Jeanne
We only had one brief meeting with your dad but we certainly heard many loving stories of his life events and fatherly wisdom! May he have the blessing of a peace that passes all understanding! Carole and Ross
Dear Francis, Andrew and Devon,
This is another sad loss for you in too short a time. I know you will miss your dad, (grandpa). I think it is wonderful that you were all together for a ninetieth birthday celebration before he went home.
Thinking of you all, cousin Margie B.
Your dad was a wonderful Uncle to me. He helped me in many ways over the years, and I will always be grateful. A fond memory I have is when we’d go to nurseries with Red, Kay and my parents. Uncle Red would always come home with a slip that “just fell into his hand”. We’d all have a laugh about it, and Uncle Red would always make sure the slip grew into something beautiful.
I will not be able to attend his Memorial Service, but my thoughts and prayers will be with the family on that special day.
