Obituary of Jack Wendelin HEFFNER
October 19, 1942 – October 30, 2011
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jack Wendelin Heffner on Sunday, October 30 2011 at the Foothills Hospital at age of 69 years.
Jack was born the youngest of twelve in Macklin, SK on October 19, 1942 to Nick and Rose Heffner. During the 70’s and 80’s Jack worked for Eaton’s and Woodward’s Contract before starting Heffner Interiors in the early 1990’s. This business continued to operate very successfully up until his passing. Jack had a large, devoted family and many friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Jack is survived by his sisters Evangeline, Loretta and Annrose; brother George; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his wife Evelyn; parents Nick and Rose; sisters Regina, Euphrasia, Zita and Elizabeth; brothers Peter, Joseph and Nicholas.
Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday November 5th , 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta or the Canadian Diabetes Association
