Obituary of Joyce Isabel HIGH

November 3, 1937 – October 25, 2011 Joyce, beloved wife of Larry, passed away after a yearlong battle with cancer on Oct 25, 2011, just shy of her 74th birthday. Joyce was born November 3, 1937 in Nanton, AB. She married her high school sweetheart July 26, 1958 and they farmed and raised their family at their Crossfield, AB homestead for the last 49 years. Joyce’s passion was her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry and their five children and their families: Lorne, Kelly, Shaelyn, Logan and Jacey High; Darren, Debbie, Chase, Danielle and Hayli High; Janine, Craig, Ashley and Erin Constant; Jeff, Carol, Amanda and Jake High; Dave, Paula, Calli and Ripley High. She is also survived by her sister Edna Bland; brother-in-law Gerald and Mae Hurt; and sister-in-law Carol Huskinson. Joyce was predeceased by her parents Frede and Kathleen Jensen; in-laws Clayton and Pauline High; sister Ada Hurt; brother and sister-in-law Ken and Marion Jensen; brother-in-law Garry Huskinson; and brother-in-law Leonard Bland.
