I was saddened when I read Floyds obit in the paper. I had spent many Stampedes working with Floyd and Jytte, as they volunteered for the Kinsmen Wheels. He was always so happy and positive, and he enjoyed and did a great job selling those tickets. On behalf of myself and the Kinsmen Club of Calgary Wheels Committee please accept our warmest condolences. We will miss him!!!!!!!!!!

It was an honor to know Floyd. He was such a passionate man full of life. My condolences to his family. Jytte, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry I didn’t see the news earlier to have attended the service.

My sincere condolences with the passing of Floyd. He was one of the liberators of the Netherlands. When a Walcheren ceremony was held in the Mewata Armoury he was always present.

Thank you very much Floyd and others for liberating the Netherlands. You will never be forgotten.

It was an honour to know Floyd this past year. I will never forget what he has done for this country! It gave me pride to help him and I learned alot from him. He will be missed!!

I had the privilege to sit with Floyd at many functions in the past with our mutual association with the Calgary Highlanders. He was a true citizen and a gentleman of high character. Thank you for your service Floyd. My condolences to all his family and friends.
