Obituary of Fredrikus Fred Willem POSTMA

September 1, 1928 – October 19, 2011 Fredrikus “Fred” Willem Postma, beloved husband of Corrie of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the age of 83 years. Fred Postma was born in Enschede, Netherlands where he was also educated and acquired his Degree in Engineering. He immigrated to Calgary, Canada with his wife Corrie in March 1954. Fred was dedicated to his work in the Oil and Gas Industry working for Royalite, BA and Gulf from which he retired in 1986. Besides his loving wife Corrie, Fred is survived by daughter Johanna Dickau (Barry); son Hank Postma (Marilyn); daughter Corinne High (Kevin); sister Annie Feenstra; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Geert of Enschede.
