Obituary of Ernest Henry HOFFMAN
February 20, 1928 – October 19, 2011
It is with great sadness and wonderful memories that we announce the passing of our beloved father. He fought a valiant battle with cancer until he passed into the arms of God.
Born on February 20, 1928 in Medicine Hat, Alberta he went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2011. He will fondly be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need, his ability to fix and repair anything and his unique sense of humour. He is predeceased by his wife Rosemary; brothers Albert, Emil and Walter and sister Hilda. He is survived by his brother Otto, sisters Alma, Clara, Martha and Mary; sons Tom (Wendy), Ted (Julie) and Todd (Roxanne); grandchildren Joshua, Matthew and Sarah.
A memorial service will be held The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour (8831 Fairmont Drive S.E.) on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations in memory of Ernest may be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Foundation. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
