Obituary of Elizabeth Morton KAY

August 17, 1913 – October 10, 2011 Elizabeth (Betty) Kay (nee Martin) of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the age of 98 years. Elizabeth Morton Martin was born August 17, 1913 in Milner, British Columbia. The daughter of a Boer War veteran, Betty’s beloved husband Bill went on to serve in the Royal Canadian Air Force. They lived in Vancouver and later Calgary, and travelled extensively upon retirement. An avid sportswoman, Betty excelled at golf. Betty is survived by her sons, Martin (Patti-Anne) and John (Louise); grandchildren, Kelli (Clint), Maclean (Melissa), Aran (Fiona), Catherine (Patrick), Elizabeth (Jeff), and Dylan; and six great-grandsons. Betty was predeceased by her husband, William Herbert Kay, and sister, Stroma Martin (Warwick). A Private family service will be held.
