Obituary of Antonietta LIZZUL

September 20, 1914 – October 7, 2011 Antonietta (Ann) Lizzul of Calgary passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the age of 97 years. Ann and her daughter emigrated from Italy to join her husband in Ontario in 1951. From Ontario they moved to Medicine Hat and finally settled in Calgary where Ann and Tony purchased and ran the Lakeview Jewellery Store until retirement in 1976. In later years she was a resident of the Lodge at Valley Ridge and more recently at the Mount Royal Care Centre. Ann is survived by her grandchildren, Karen Hertel (Tony), Kim Levenson (Bob), Kevin Hertel (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan, Payton, Taryn, Catriona and Liam. She was predeceased by her husband Tony Lizzul and her daughter Marisa Hertel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Lougheed Cemetery, Lougheed, AB at a later date.
