Condolences
Your SPEDS Family. Dear Alaine, I was thinking fondly of you and George all those 30some years ago when I was a young teacher and how much fun, lively debates, and laughter we shared. We moved to BC and were so saddened to now find out about George’s passing. Sending you much heartfelt love and hugs :) Maxine & Arthur
Dear Mrs.Skoreyko,
I know this is really late. I have been thinking of you lately and how grateful I am to have been a part of your class in 1985. You changed my life forever and I just wanted to tell you thank you. Sorry to hear about your husband. Hope you are doing well. You are amazing.
Sincerely,
Alisha (Hughes) Ouellette
Dear Ajarn Alaine,
I have just learnt that George passed away in October 2011. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May he rest in peace. I still remember how wonderful he was. Both of you are such a nice couple. Sorry for not contacting you before. How are you now? Hope to hear from you.
Alaine & Family
We were saddened to learn of George’s passing and we extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family.
We have many fond memories of George (and you), obviously most of them associated with square dancing. However one memory not related to dancing is meeting you in Market Mall (early morning walkers) on a very cold morning, at least -25oC, and George joining us later, smiling and rosy cheeked from his early morning walk to Market Mall!
Sincerely
Art & Collette McMullen
My deepest sympathies to you Alaine, Linda and Fraser for the loss of George. My dad Bill Swityk also wishes to extend his condolences to you as well. May God provide you with comfort and peace for you during this time.
George will always be a thought or memory away.

Alaine, we were sorry to learn of George’s passing. We will always remember his contagious smile – he was always happy & nice to be around. He had such a mischievious personality & always joking or teasing. He was always fun in a “square”. He touched everyone who knew him & will be missed.
God bless, you are in our prayers.
Hugs,
Les & Claire
Dear Alaine and family– my late dad, Bill, spoke often of George and enjoyed the dancing and social activities with a fellow Ukie. You and George were so kind to my mother, Helen, and regularly included her in social activities after she was widowed–my heartfelt gratitude. She is away right now, but I know she will be deeply saddened by your loss. Although I didn’t really know George, I want to say I’m also saddened by the passing of someone who was an important part of my parents’ life. I wish you all peace and consolation. Anne
