Obituary of Reta Emily FERRIS

October 24, 1925 – October 6, 2011 Reta Ferris passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Reta was born in Carberry, Manitoba to Elsie and Jim Miller. She will be sorely missed by her loving husband Robert (Bob) of 66 years, her daughter Penny Stone and husband Bob; grandchildren Bree Phillips, Cara and Darren Milne, Curtis Stone; great grandchildren Dawson Phillips, Jaden and Ashley Milne all of Calgary, sister Verna Griffiths of Winnipeg and sister-in-law, Nora Brugger of Portage La Prairie. Bob and Reta worked and lived in Neepawa, Manitoba area for 45 years before moving to Calgary to be closer to their daughter and family. They enjoyed wintering in Mexico and Mesa Arizona where they made many friends. Reta loved to sew, knit, crochet, and she made the best apple pie! We will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank Dr. Marily Basinger and staff of Unit 72 at the Rockyview Hospital for their care and consideration.
