Obituary of Arlene May DEAN

October 22, 1958 – October 3, 2011 Arlene Dean, beloved wife of Grant of Calgary, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the age of 52 years. Arlene was born in Calgary. She attended the University of Calgary, receiving BPhEd, BA Psychology, MA Psychology, and was working toward BN when she became ill. Arlene discovered her love of painting later in life, creating beautiful canvasses which she shared with many. She found her strength in Jesus Christ who remained the Lord of her life until the very end. In spite of her illness, Arlene’s heart continued to grow in love for everyone she met. Arlene absolutely adored her husband and children. Arlene will be remembered by her loving husband Grant, daughter Brooke Dean (Ben Kennedy), son Nigel Dean (Michelle Kaufman) as well as other family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Doris Ross, her grandmother Olive Beattie. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
