Condolences
Molly, Bob & Diana & Allen – our condolences to you at this sad time of loss. We wanted to come to the viewing, but our family is coming to visit. Unfortunately, Tuesday for the funeral we are at the church volunteering in finance.
Our prayer and thoughts are with you. John always had a smile for us when we met.
Love – Wally & Elsie
Aunt Molly, Bob, Diana, & Allen. Uncle Johnny faced his battle with courage, dignity and respect. I am so happy that we could share in the celebration of his 86th birthday. Bob, I commend you for all that you did for your dad out of love. And, Diana, I commend you for all the work, care and love that you gave in helping Bob, Aunt Molly and Uncle Johnny. He is at peace and I am grateful for that. Aunt Molly, your faith, love and support that you have given all your life to your family is a testament to all. I admire you for all these qualities, and God has blessed you. It is amazing of what one remembers has a child. I remember when you would come to visit us at the farm and, uncle Johnny would bring some cake mixes and pickles that Robin Hood made. This was a treat because mom canned and baked everything from scratch, including home made pickles. So you can imagine how we felt. It was so simple to make a cake with these mixes and, oh, the pickles were so good. It was these little things that one remembers and that one treasures. May God bless you and comfort you during this sad time of your lives. I loved Uncle Johnny and I will miss him, but I am thankful for the times that we shared together.
Love Don
Aunt Molly, Bob, Diana and Ellen. I will never forget when you and Uncle Johnny would come to visit us in Saskatchewan around Dad’s and my birthday. I always knew that if the watermelons were out in the stores in Calgary you would be bringing one for me. What a great treat! My heart aches for you all as you go through this time –grieving, remembering and sharing those memories with others. But we also know he is having a great time with his brothers (and my mom) and sister and his mom and dad and is no longer in pain. We love you. Lorey, Curtis, Natalie and Andrew Marsden.
We’re so sorry to hear of your loss. Just know this message brings our love and sympathy.
