Obituary of Ora Marie WHITE

August 16, 1945 – October 1, 2011 Ora Marie White beloved wife of Derry White of Calgary, passed away in her home on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the age of 65 years. Ora was born in Regina but made her home in Calgary since 1966. Ora was a mother, wife, grandmother, sister, talented artist, and her proudest accomplishment was her fifteen year volunteer stewardship of Wildcat (Wreck) Island, along with her husband Derry. She loved to camp and travel to Baja, Mexico where she fell in love with the Mexican people and their culture. She will be lovingly remembered by Derry, her husband of thirty-two years; daughter Shauna (Rob) Ferguson (nee Stevenson); son Scott Stevenson; mother Gertrude (Trudy) MacDonald and Robert (Bob) Gilmar of Lethbridge; sisters Karla (Darrell) Wenhardt of San Diego and Joanne (Doug) Bobinec of Wrentham; grandchildren Ella and Joey Ferguson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Donald MacDonald of Lethbridge and mothers-in-law Leslie White and Mona White and father-in-law Bev White. Always loved, never forgotten.
