Obituary of Fred WELLIS

March 1, 1923 – October 1, 2011 Fred Wellis passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Fred served in the Royal Canadian Navy throughout World War II, and met his wife Doris, in England. He lived in Winnipeg all of his adult life and worked for Canada Post. Fred retired in 1984 and eventually moved to Calgary. Fred is survived by, his brother Tony (Nell); sister Nell Camp; and many nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his wife Doris.
