Obituary of Ellen Jean TRANTER

September 3, 1920 – September 30, 2011 Ellen Jean Tranter of Calgary, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Jean was born in and grew up in Calgary. Jean and her husband Cy also lived in Drumheller, Lethbridge and Edmonton before they retired to Calgary in 1981. She will be fondly remembered as a warm and loving friend to her many neighbours, co-workers and golf partners. Jean is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Gregg and Jean Tranter and Ken and Marge Tranter; five grandchildren, Liam (Gwen), Kris, Tara, Bryna and Dakota; great-granddaughter Rhiannon; as well as by two sisters Ethel Halling and Irene Aked. She was predeceased by her loving husband Cy in 2007.
