Rita was my God-mother and she was one of my mother’s best friends (Paula Findlay). I remember visiting her at Helen’s children’s store and buying clothes, growing up. I loved Rita,she was always so cheerful and positive. I would drop by and visit her at her house in North Burnaby and we would chat at length about many things. She was the greatest woman and I will miss her.
