Obituary of Ruth Marion HARRISON

March 22, 1939 – September 29, 2011 Ruth Harrison of Calgary passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 72 years. Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Sandy Harrison; daughter Sheryl Harrison; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson. She is also survived by her sister Virginia McGillis, her brother Peter McGillis, brother-in-law Randall Bucar, nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her son Ricky Harrison; her daughter Audrey Harrison; her sisters Violet Bucar and Betty Ann Wells; and her parents Jim and Anne McGillis. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
