Obituary of Lillian Alice CLAYTON

March 6, 1928 – September 22, 2011 Cherished mother and friend, Lynne Clayton, has passed away at the age of 83 years after a long illness. Born in Ashton-under-Lyne, U.K., Lynne immigrated to Canada in 1955. Lynne is survived by children Michael (Gail) and Jean (Colin) of Calgary, AB; Norman (Kazia) of Vancouver, B.C.; Kathy (John) of Devon, AB; Barbra (Brian) of Sackville, N.B.; and her younger brother Norman (Sharon) of Hamilton, Ont. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and their spouses, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John, in 1997. Throughout her life, Lynne was known for her kind and gentle temperament, which shone through even in the face of adversity. Her generous spirit will be sadly missed.
