I never met Olive but wrote to her regarding research of the Begg family tree. Very sad to hear of her death and my condolences to her family.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family Ian. It was a pleasure to have known Olive and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

We are so sorry for your loss. Olive was a really good friend and neighbour and will be sorely missed.

Olive made a significant contribution to the Family History Centre and always greeted patrons and staff with a happy countenance. She will be missed by all those who knew her and worked with here there. My sincere condolences go out to you and your family on your loss.

I am sorry Ian that you have lost such a wonderful friend and wife. It has been a privilege and a joy to know Olive. I will miss her dearly. We had many good times working together and lots of great chats and lunches and laughs and hugs. Olive was smart and funny and gentle and determined. She was a great genealogist and a gifted gardener and created such a beautiful oasis in her garden. I am so glad to have known her and so fortunate that she has been my loving friend. She will live on in my memories and my heart. My thoughts are with you Ian.

Olive will be greatly missed at the Calgary Family History Centre where she volunteered for 20 years. She was a ray of sunshine to all who she associated with. Our sincere prayers and condolences are for those she has left behind and our firm hope is that we shall all meet again.

Olive was a wonderful lady with such a ready smile. My sincere sympathy to you and I pray for you during this difficult time.
