Dearest Pozzo Family,
We were deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved Maralee. Through this difficult time our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I remember my first hockey game with the family watching Mike out on the ice and Maralee saying as she leaned over to me isn’t my son awesome with that famous smile of hers. She was the definition of home. Her kindness, grace and fierce love for her family was something to behold. I can also remember sitting at the kitchen table as she told me of the boy she fell in love with and the great men her sons would become and her excitement of having grandchildren one day. I am so glad to see her dreams came true and that her legacy of courage and love will live through you all.
Bless you and your family through this time and always,
Paige Bristow & Family

Dear Gary and family,
It has been many years since I worked with Maralee at Medicentre and we shared some wonderful times. She had a great sense of humor and kept me laughing especially when she told me of the time that you both had had a car accident by running into each other on the street in front of your house. The insurance company couldn’t believe your misfortune. I will always remember Maralee as one of the most sweet natured persons that I have ever known and I know that you are going to miss her terribly. Sandie Tucker
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Maralee. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. We will always remember the good times we had together so many years ago.

Steve and I worked with Maralee years ago, at the old Chinook Square Medicentre. I will never forget on evenings when we were not too busy, Maralee would slip over to Frankie’s pharmacy and get some treats for the boys’ school lunches next day. Then she would patiently draw a little hand on three pieces of paper to tuck in the lunch bags. I remember the first time I saw her do this, I asked what she was drawing. She told me she liked to put in a note to tell them “I love you” but the boys were getting too big now for that. She didn’t want to embarrass them, so she would draw a hand held in the American sign language position that said “I love you”. I thought she was the best Mom to do that… and I know her boys did, too.
She was a lovely lady and we are saddened to hear she has passed away. God Bless all of you now as you struggle to get through this time. And remember the “sign”…she loves you… always has and always will.
Sincerely,
Dr. Steve & June Cooper
