Obituary of Desmond NEWELL

May 7, 1947 – September 16, 2011 Desmond Newell beloved husband of Karen of Calgary, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the age of 64 years. After celebrating a wonderful life Des left this world surrounded by his loving family at Rockyview Hospital. He was born and raised in Kilkeel Northern Ireland moving to Canada at the tender age of twenty years old. Des is survived by his soul mate and loving wife Karen (Kensley) and their two sons Aubrey and Bevan. He is also survived by seven siblings all living in Ireland. He was predeceased by his parents W.J. Newell, Margaret and two brothers. He will be sadly missed by all family members and numerous friends.
