Obituary of Robert Bob ROGGIA

September 21, 1919 – September 11, 2011 We are sad to announce the passing of Uncle Bob on September 11, 2011 at the age of 91 years. With the exception of a few years living in Rodchester, NY, Uncle Bob spent his life in Calgary. At a young age Bob started his career, as a Pattern Maker with Dominion Bridge and in 1956 he then moved up to being a manager at Riley’s Reproduction running the production department. His personal love of the outdoors was a big part of his life; fishing and hunting with family and good friends and great dogs. Bob made a lifetime of memories and shared them with all. He never married but he had special friends he shared his life with. When Bob retired he took an interest in travelling to Vegas and Hawaii for several years. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his family and all his close friends. Bob was predeceased by his father, Giovanni (John) and mother, Maria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
