Obituary of Kenneth Dale WILSON

July 4, 1933 – September 8, 2011 It is with deep sadness that the family of Dale Wilson announces his sudden passing on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Dale was born in Brandon, Manitoba, later his family moved to Kimberley, BC. Dale had the honour of being made a King Scout and also appointed a Deputy Commissioner of Scouting for BC. Following graduation of high school in 1953, he joined the Royal Canadian Engineers. After his military service, Dale taught school in Thicket Portage, Manitoba, and later married Elaine. Dale was with the I.O.F. for thirty years. He joined the Masonic Lodge and later other concordant bodies, and the O.E.S. Dale is survived by his wife Elaine; his children, Carla (Casey) McLean and Jim; his brothers, Jack and Gerald (Mary Ann); two grandchildren; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; his mother-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
