Obituary of Rosa LAMMIRATO

January 1, 1930 – September 6, 2011 Rosa Lammirato of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Rosa was born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy and immigrated to Calgary in 1959. She worked for many years in the food industry. Rosa was an active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and cherished grandchildren. Rosa is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Jimmy Tigani, Mary Lammirato and Al Stinson, Giosi Lammirato and Terry Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Lammirato and Tracey Glass; six grandchildren, Vanessa, Matthew, Mona, Renee, Giovanni, and Jude. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marietta Alessio of Italy and Angela and Angelo Morina of Switzerland as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rosa was predeceased by her husband Giovanni Battista Lammirato and brother Giovanni Mazzei.
