July 14, 1932 – September 1, 2011 Maria Overes of Calgary passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Maria is survived by her six children, Lawrence (Kim), Simon (Nicole), Doreen (Bruce) Blair, Petronella (Jordan), Michael (Penny) and Peter; six grandchildren, Dilan, Maddison, Marcus, Alexa, Liam and Thea; and her brother Theo (Willie). Maria was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1993.
