I was so sad to hear about your mom. I’m very glad that I stopped in to see her at her apartment last year. It was so nice to catch up with all the family news and relive old times together. Laurie, of course, she reminded me of our trip together across Canada and the day we visited Niagara Falls and spent the day looking for Sylvia, my mom and your mom. I know my Dad loved all his sisters but definitely looked forward to when your mom and dad came to visit us in Taber.

I’m working and living in B.C. this summer so will be unable to attend the memorial but my thoughts will be with you on Tuesday.

Very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a very fine person. I know you will miss her dearly but take heart in knowing she had a happy life.
