Obituary of PRASAD- Satruhan

July 31, 1950 – August 30, 2011 Satruhan (“Saten”) Prasad lost his battle with cancer, and passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 61 years. Saten is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Aruna Prasad; daughters Angela, Sharleen (Harold); and granddaughter Jaya. Saten was born in the Fiji Island, and came to Canada in 1972. He and Aruna were married in Fiji in 1977, and they settled in Vancouver, BC. They later moved to Calgary where they raised two daughters and ran a successful business.
