I was saddened to read in the Herald that John had passed away. We haven’t been in touch in the last several years, but I have always remembered the fun times we had when the four of us were newly married and living on 19th Street.

I am sure John had a few not so fond memories of those times, but he was always there if needed. Our condolences to you and your family. John was a wonderful man. I remember the first time we met, it was the evening I was accepted as a member of CAPL (1974). John came up to me after the meeting and introduced himself as a relative…and thus began a friendship of a lifetime. He will be missed but never forgotten.
