Obituary of Albert Oscar HARDY
March 31, 1914 – August 28, 2011
Albert Hardy of Calgary and formerly of Toronto passed away on Sunday, August, 28, 2011 at the age of 97 years.
Albert worked for Consumer’s Gas Company in Toronto for forty-nine years. He loved to cook, play bridge, dance and travel. Albert enjoyed many hours with the Bowcliff and Go-Getters Clubs in Calgary. He also volunteered with the RCAF in England during WW II.
Albert is survived by two sons, Ron Hardy (Leah) and Bill Hardy (Karen); six grandchildren, Richard (Tracy), Robert, Kersten (Joe), Lisa, Devon (Breya) and Jennifer; four great-grandchildren, Jason, Ethan, Alexis and Will. He is also survived by his sister Mildred and his brother Gerald (Bernice). He was predeceased by his wife Audrey Hardy (nee Penny), his sister Ethel, his brother Charlie and his parents Caleb and Susie Hardy.
