Obituary of Jacqueline Anne DUNNIGAN

May 7, 1937– August 24, 2011 Our beloved Jacqueline passed away on August 24, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Jacqueline was born in Edmonton to John and Agnes McLean. She and Tom moved their family to Calgary in 1963, where Jacquie was instrumental in starting with Norma Bush, Calgary’s Power Skating Clinics. She also taught all levels of figure skating for many years. Following her parents example, Jacquie became involved in numerous volunteer efforts, including Junior League, Allied Arts, canvassing for Heart and Stroke and Cancer. She was involved with Friends of Medicare and spent many hours helping out at Inn From the Cold. Jacqueline will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas, they would have celebrated their 52nd anniversary on Monday August 29, 2011. She is also survived by her; children Theresa, Deb (Karyn), Mary Anne (Dave), Ted (Heather); grandchildren, Amanda, Carl, Dylan, Tuilelaigh, Jackie (Juergen), Dylan, and great-granddaughter Ffion. She is also survived by Maureen (Gerry), Peggy (Fin), Tom (Marge), and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.)on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
