Obituary of WILKINS – Gertrude

Wilkins, Gertrude (Trudy) nee Ramsay 88 years, died peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2011 with her beloved husband Roy by her side. Trudy was born in Canmore, AB on March 21, 1923. Trudy was an avid swimmer, walker and long term member of the Dots and Dasher Square Dance Club. She attended Lakeview United Church. She will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. In addition to her husband Roy, Trudy is survived by her children Beverley Marsden (John), Ramsay Lawrence (Charlotte) and Margaret Slade (David); her step-children Lawrence (Donna), Sherry Lee Durowojn and Wendy Wilkins; grandchildren Tracey, Andrea, Jason, Ryan, Brad, Kristi, Megan and Matthew; great-grandchildren Brandon, Will, Tristan, Emma, Ore and Elliott, and her sister Frances Trent. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
