Obituary of M. Jane Walker

October 6, 1927 – August 21, 2011 M. Jane Walker passed away quietly on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at the age of 83 years, joining her beloved husband of 54 years, Lyle Walker. Jane was born in Ganonoque, Ontario. She and Lyle met and were married in Kingston, ON, and had two children. They travelled with Lyle’s military career for 29 years, before retiring to Calgary in 1978. Jane is survived by daughter Barbara (“Bobbi”) and grandson Steve; son Jack and daughter-in-law Linda; and sisters Laura Raaflaub, Lillian (Jack) Gilbert, and Carrol Turcotte; the Walker family; and numerous nieces, nephews.
