Obituary of GERULA – Isobel

March 16, 1923 – June 24, 2011 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Sandy. Sandy was born in Portage-la-Prairie, Manitoba. She moved to Vancouver, B.C. to pursue her career as a registered nurse and it was there that she met her husband Al. Sandy is survived by her husband al of sixty one years, her children Chris, Shelley (Rick), David (Dominique), her brother Fred Sanford, grandchildren Riel, Daniel, Nicole, Cameron, Kristina, Kim, Mike, Travis and great-grandchildren Ella and Calia. She was predeceased by her son Carey in 2009. She will be remembered for her very kind, compassionate and giving heart and her unwavering love and caring, for her family and friends. Sandy will be dearly missed by all who knew this amazing woman. A Memorial Service and a Celebration of her life will be held at the Church of the Nazarene (65 Richard Way S.W.) on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
