Obituary of Audrey Helene SKEET

February 27, 1928 – August 10, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Audrey Helene Skeet on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Audrey is survived by her loving and devoted husband Roy of sixty years; her adoring children, Daryl (Roxanne), Dianne (Michael) Trew, Ian (Heather), Martin (Jacki), and Rob (Mary Jo); fourteen grandchildren; and many relatives. Audrey, a native Calgarian, was always a bright and cheerful person who loved to sing and tell jokes to anyone she met. “Little Audrey laughed and laughed…” Audrey worked many years as a legal and executive secretary in the Oil & Gas industry. She had a passion for words and could spell them all without the benefit of “spell check”. Audrey enjoyed life to the fullest and shared that joy with everyone, making many friends along the way.
