Obituary of CRAIG – Shirley Ann

October 3, 1935 – August 8, 2011 It is with great sadness we announce that Shirley Ann Craig passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2011 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 75 years. Shirley was born to parents Daisy and George Wheatcroft in Drumheller, Alberta on October 3, 1935. Shirley will be remembered by all as a person who loved life, believed in harmony, peace and truth and was always so positive and strong-willed. Shirley’s family has lost a true friend and supporter. Shirley is lovingly remembered by her son Darcy Craig of Calgary, Alberta; sisters, Hilda Davies of Edmonton, Alberta, Hazel (Bob) Barker of Vernon, BC; and Ruth Openshaw of Victoria, BC; and many nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Daisy and George Wheatcroft; her brothers, Gordon Wheatcroft and Roy Wheatcroft; and her sisters, Marjorie Mellor and Ethel Nelson.
