Obituary of Eleanor Louise KELLY

March 29, 1927 – August 7, 2011 Eleanor Kelly, known to most as Kelly, of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Kelly was born in Waldeck, SK and went to school there. She married Bill, who was a carpenter, and resided in various locations throughout Saskatchewan, settling in Regina. In 1973 they moved to Calgary where Kelly worked at AADAC for eleven years. Kelly had been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ogden Branch No. 154. Kelly is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Ron Shaw; two grandchildren Kaley (Jim) Sparrey and Kiley Shaw; three great-granddaughters Breanna, Aislynn and Shevaun Sparrey; and three sisters Leona Wurst, Clara Brandick and Betty Jones. Kelly is also survived by a special friend Sylvia Rodi of Cathedral Manor, Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Wilmer (Bill) Kelly and a sister Rosemary Leonard.
